The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, Mohammed Misbah Al Neymi, inaugurated the first edition of the "Ras Al Khaimah Night Market" festival, organized by the Ras Al Khaimah Expo Center in cooperation with the Saqr Bin Zayed Foundation for Youth Development Projects. The market, which includes about 100 stalls, will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays of each week, starting from 4:30 PM until 10:30 PM. It is located in the outdoor area of the Ras Al Khaimah Expo Center. The opening was attended by a Member of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, Arifa Saleh Al Falahi, and the Head of Government and Corporate Communication Sector at the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), as well as the Acting Director General of the Chamber, Dr. Ahmed Al Shimili, and officials from the Chamber, Expo Center, and Saqr Foundation, along with a large crowd of the public. The Chairman of the Chamber affirmed during his tour of the market corridors that the event is not just a marketing event that offers a shopping experience, but also a comprehensive entertainment experience that includes all types of stalls, family activities, and restaurants, alongside a massive diversity in options, whether the shopper is looking for brands or traditional markets. He added that the market serves as an important platform that brings together about 100 stalls and offers the best shopping experience, thanks to the huge discounts and options that suit all tastes and budgets, in addition to entertainment offers, prizes, and competitions. He pointed out that both the Ras Al Khaimah Expo Center and the Saqr Bin Zayed Foundation for Youth Development Projects are keen to provide all forms of support to the participating stall owners, who will take turns displaying their products at the market throughout the event period, which will extend for several months. He explained that what distinguishes the market is the variety of events, as there will be different events every week with new stalls, activities, and products, in addition to weekly participations with various shows from the Civil Defense Authority, heritage shows to introduce the marine environment and marine heritage crafts, and a performance by the Marine Band. Mohammed Al Neymi added that such events, markets, and festivals achieve a qualitative leap by attracting participants from all commercial license holders for all commercial activities, as they enhance the position of the emirate by attracting investments, supporting economic growth, and activating commercial and tourism movement, in addition to providing a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences, and enhancing economic diversity across various sectors. He expects the market to witness a great turnout from visitors and the public from all emirates of the country.
